Salary : $130,000 - $150,000 (with bonus potential)

Role Summary :
The Director of Nursing will oversee all nursing operations within the facility, including OR, Preop, and PACU departments.
This hands-on role involves direct patient care and leadership, ensuring clinical excellence from admission through discharge.
You will drive quality improvement initiatives, manage risk and infection control processes, and lead the education and development of your clinical team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ambulatory surgery centers (ASC) or hospital OR settings and a passion for developing a cohesive and efficient nursing staff.
Responsibilities :
Lead and manage clinical nursing teams, ensuring patient needs are met in line with physician instructions and facility standards.
Cultivate a positive, respectful work culture and build strong interdepartmental relationships.
Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, vendors, and the public in person, over the phone, and via email.
Analyze clinical data to guide patient care plans and nursing practices.
Provide clear, actionable direction to optimize clinical efficiency and workflow.
Maintain awareness of legal and policy boundaries and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Required Qualifications :
Associate’s degree in nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Current RN license.
At least 5 years of clinical experience in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) or hospital OR.
BLS and ACLS certifications (current or to be completed within 90 days of hire).
Minimum of 2 years in a nursing leadership or management role.
Desired Qualifications :
Experience in Pre-op, PACU, or OR roles, with relevant supervisory experience (e.g., RN Supervisor, DON, Nurse Manager).
Proven leadership skills with a focus on infection control, accreditation / survey processes, and regulatory compliance.
Familiarity with Medicare and state licensure requirements.
Strong background in clinical teaching and experience transitioning to or managing EMR systems.
ASC experience is highly preferred; hospital OR candidates with relevant experience are welcome.
