We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Implementation Consultant to join the Professional Services team.

In this role you will collaborate with other Implementations Consultants, Solutions Architect, Account Managers and Project Managers to assist in all stages of Avanti’s- implementation life cycle.

You will also have strong ties to Support and Product owners to ensure client needs are being addressed in a timely manner.

Reporting directly to the Director of Professional Services, you will gather client requirements, configure Avanti’s solution to meet scoped client requirements, set and manage client expectations, identify risks, and communicate issues to the appropriate Project Manager.

As the Senior Implementation Consultant, you will be a trusted advisor and product expert for Avanti’s new and existing customers while building and maintaining relationships with our internal and external strategic customers.

What You’ll Do :

  • Participate in all phases of the payroll software implementation lifecycle including discovery, configuration, testing, training, go-live and post-go-live support across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Attend internal and client project meetings and provide status updates on deliverables
  • Maintain an up-to-date client issues log for projects
  • Host working and troubleshooting sessions with clients to resolve their issues Set and manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Have client facing calls for escalations and / or scoping.
  • Provide professional advice, guidance and actionable solutions to businesses.
  • Provide training to client admin users to perform day-to-day activities in support of implementation
  • Deliver quality service within budget constraints and seeking ways to reduce costs or time to value.
  • Document and share solutions and best practices internally across the Professional Services team and other relevant Avanti stakeholders
  • Participate in organizational projects outside of your immediate team

Who We’re Looking For :

  • 5+ years’ experience leading client implementation projects in a SaaS environment
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Payroll fundamentals and processing procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to display complex data and information in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Someone who is client-centric, naturally curious and a great listener
  • A clear and effective communicator who has the ability to communicate with clients and colleagues with credibility and empathy
  • A solution orientated self-starter who thrives on innovation and who isn’t afraid to solve problems

Bonus Points if You Have :

  • Previous use of Avanti as a super user
  • Experience processing payroll
  • Basic SQL knowledge and strong aptitude for Math
