Cabin Operations Ltd, a leader in environmental construction, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of environmental and recreation construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
You would be based out of Vernon or Kelowna, but West Kelowna or Lake Country could be home as well. We do have some basic mandatory requirements (see below) but the overarching theme is one of alignment with Cabin's Vision and core values (see website) and a passion for the environment.

Key Responsibilities :
Lead project planning sessions, coordinate estimating, tender submissions and contract
negotiation.
Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure successful project
execution including change order submission and force account tracking.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure alignment with
project goals.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company
policies.
Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation to clients and internal
teams.
Collaborate with subject matter experts such safety, finance & admin, consultants and
our in-house team of professional agrologist, biologists and foresters.
Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate
project success.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively
Mandatory Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in
environmental restoration or civil construction.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project.
Preferred Skills (Assets) :
Professional Project Management Training : Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or
equivalent.
- Experience with creek diversions and associated regulatory requirements.
- Experience with outdoor recreation projects including : park, trail and playground
construction
- Knowledge of ecosystem restoration techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with stormwater management systems and solutions.
- Expertise in sediment and erosion control measures and implementation.
