The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of PROGRAMMING FOR VR 1 - PYTHON & ALGORITHMS (420-105-LA)
Note : This course is given in English.
This course provides students with an introduction to algorithmic problem-solving approaches and basic coding procedures as they apply to the development of interactive media, software and VR / AR applications.
Using a project-based approach, students will develop an understanding of encoding standards, debugging procedures and scripting approaches through authentic case studies and development projects.
Through the analysis, revision and production of code, students will implement solutions to solve the issues presented in these case studies.
Required Qualifications : Must have thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming including demonstrated experience working with the Python programming language.
Should have a master's degree in computer science with a minimum of 2 years' experience using Python or similar in the development of interactive media or a bachelor's degree in computer science with a minimum of 4 years' experience using Python or similar in the development of interactive media.
Experience teaching an adult clientele in a similar program is an asset.
