Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Project Manager to act as the Director's right hand and deliver associated artefacts.
The successful candidate will act as a representative of the branch for internal stakeholder meetings and will tasked with gaining project buy-in.
Tasks :
- Act as the essential advisor working in close relation to the executive level Director helping to guide decision making
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to gain project buy-in
- Provide leadership and oversight for the design activities, including usage of deliverables necessary to satisfy the methodology, including, but not limited to : Strategic Business Objectives and Critical Success Factors.
- Support the initial design and change readiness assessments to determine possibility of carrying out projects
- Support the definition of business competencies, capabilities, value drivers, outcomes and measures.
- Definition of target business model, operating model, and target service model.
- Definition and development of strategy and value components such as strategy maps, competency maps, value maps, value clusters, goal chains and value chain diagrams.
- Identification and analysis of pain points, pain clusters and pain chains.
- Lead the development of briefings, solutions and status reports for presentation to executive management.
- Provide solution and transformation alignment leadership from a project planning perspective.
- Support the development of the transformation roadmap and transition plan.
Must-haves :
- 2+ projects providing strategic guidance to Director level or above
- 5+ years of experience for the Government of Canada
- Enhanced Reliability
Nice-to-have experience :
- Previous experience working at ESDC
