Reporting to the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Expertise Lead, the TPRM Program & Reporting role supports with the design, adherence, and continuous improvement of Aviva Canada’s Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program.
The Program & Reporting role works to ensure that the Aviva Canada’s TPRM program is aligned with regulatory expectations and the specific requirements of the business.
The Program & Reporting role works closely with the 2nd Line Risk team to supervise, track, and report on compliance-related activities.

What you’ll do :
Responsible for overall TPRM program design including identification of opportunities to further enhance / strengthen or optimize TPRM program in coordination with the TPRM Expertise Lead and 2nd Line Risk.
Update, and refine TPRM policies and standards in alignment with regulatory and business requirements.
Coordinate with Aviva Group and / or Aviva Canada functions on TPRM program design, and effectiveness.
Assist in regulatory monitoring and compliance tracking and reporting for Aviva Canada.
Support in interpretation, and application of third-party regulatory changes
Collaborate with TPRM Support / Coordinator role to ensure consistent, and efficient application of Aviva’s TPRM program.
Responsible to provide input, and commentary on overall TPRM program effectiveness to leadership and / or risk committees as required.
Lead monitoring and tracking of TPRM program adherence including driving consistency in applying risk management principles across Aviva Canada business divisions and third-party types.
Responsible to define and track relevant KRIs to advise TPRM program effectiveness.
Lead in collection, analysis and aggregation of data to provide enterprise view of TPRM program and compliance.
Design, build, and implement Third-Party Risk Management tools and dashboards
Lead the data collection, aggregation and analysis for the enterprise third-party view.
Coordinate across various TPRM governance groups in the collection, and consolidation of updates and data elements to be shared with leadership.
Support in other strategic projects or priorities as defined.
What you’ll bring :
Diploma or degree in business, economics, finance or other related field or equivalent experience.
Three to five years of relevant enterprise and / or operational risk management experience, preferably in the property / casualty insurance or related industry.
Risk Management Experience will be considered an asset.
Risk management qualifications or equivalent.
Deep understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks and third-party risk subject matter.
Understanding of core vendor management and procurement activities and principles.
Strong familiarity with OSFI Guideline B-10, B-13 and E-21.
Understanding of process design and driving operational excellence.
Ability to interpret, understand and apply regulatory guidance.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills including ability to manage large and complex data sets.
Proficient in data management and ability to collect, prioritize, and extract insights from various sources.
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and integrity throughout the reporting process.
Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills to work effectively with key internal collaborators.
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate risk-related information and insights to various team members.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to effectively manage risk focused initiatives including managing relationships with key supporting partners.
Experience working with vendor risk management software solutions, specifically with SAP Ariba Risk, Archer, and Logigate management platforms would be considered an asset.
