We are looking to fill the position of Winter Sports SchoolSales Supervisor at Fernie Alpine Resort . Every day is new and exciting, you share yourlove of the mountains by assisting guests in booking lessons and leading your teamto success.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience,strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, be physically fit andenjoy working in an outdoor mountain environment.

You duties will include :

Staff Supervision

• Leadership& staff management skills
• Conflictresolution skills
• Providea culture of sales and service
• Weekly staffschedules, and payroll sign-offs
• Daily crew talks
• Mid-seasonevaluations for all WSS sales staff
• Day-to-day functionsof staff on tasks

General

• Provide excellent front-facing customer service in a fast-paced sales environment
• Create an atmosphere of relationship building for the guests at initiation of sales and inquiry process.
• Communicate with guests to find the best program for them. Use the POS to book all lessons and communicate all relevant information to the guest.
• Deal with any guest issues that may arise in a professional, and courteous manner
• Supervise and oversee all telephone, email information and sales requests.
• Have / develop an excellent understanding of WSS product and philosophies on how to sell each product
• Supervise all lesson sales, cash handling and reconciliations on a daily basis
• Supervise various sales outlets that sell WSS product
• Phone sales station
• Lizard Creek Lodge sales
• WSS Sales desk
• WSS Sales hut

OH&S :

• OH&S trainingfor all sales staff
• Training passportoutline and completion for all sales staff
• Job hazard ID’s, upto date
• Safety Improvementplan for staff and area
• Daily check lists,updated, completed and filed (system)

You Have :

• Excellent communication, organization, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• POS system and cash handling / reconciliation experience
• Excellent computer skills, on various Sales POS systems
• Previous experience in a similar role an asset
