About Our Client
Our client, a small business ecommerce medical supply business is looking for a P / T Senior Bookkeeper to provide support in a variety of areas, including bookkeeping clean up, tax preparation, system and process implementation, as well as client bookkeeping support and monthly invoicing.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated and reliable. The ability to take direction and then work independently along with efficient time management is a definite asset, the responsibilities of the role includes :
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping Cleanup : Review and clean up existing financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Organization : Organize financial records and maintain orderly accounting files.
- Invoicing : Prepare and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Invoice Tracking : Monitor and track invoices, ensuring timely payments and following up on overdue accounts.
- Tax Preparation : Assist with preparing tax documents and coordinating with tax professionals to ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal tax regulations.
- General Support : Provide answers to general accounting and bookkeeping questions as
needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full cycle bookkeeping experience
- Experience with bookkeeping clean up
- Experience implementing accounting and finance processes
- Experience working in a accounting firm is a strong asset
- Confident and comfortable working individually
- Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various clients and customers
