JOB DESCRIPTION : Duties & Resp :
Duties & Resp :
- Performs general accounting month end close activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules
- Prepare and post journal entries during month end close
- Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
- Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports
- Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects.
- Broad application of principles, theories and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields.
- Provides resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Contributes to the development of organization’s goals and objectives.
- Frequent communication with internal teams and with outside customer contacts.
- Represents the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role and / or may supervise the activities of lower level personnel (exempt professional and non-exempt).
Qualifications :
- 3-5 Years of Experience in Accounting & Finance, or related field
- 2+ Years in a Sr. Accountant / Analyst role
- Audit experience preferred
- Advanced Excel experience required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Knowledge of Month end close process
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, or related field
- Experience in an ERP Systems, preferably Oracle
- Holds CPA, CPA Candidate preferred
