Key Activities
Reporting to the Sr. Coordinator Ticketing System & Database , the incumbent is responsible for a range of duties associated with the database and the sale of tickets and subscriptions.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Ensure the accurate and complete recording of key customer data points for each transaction;
- Ensure the accuracy of operational processes such as ticket and subscription processing on the ticketing system;
- Look to streamline ticketing and operational processes where possible with the aim to help colleagues better manage their workload, time and priorities more efficiently;
- Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data from other sources before it is integrated into NAC CRM platforms;
- Co-ordinate data requests and preparation of data for promotional and joint marketing initiatives such as acquisition and retention campaigns, seat sale, surveys and reports;
- Co-ordinate data requests and preparation of data for promotional and sales initiatives of one-off programming campaigns such as Festivals, price code and promotion creation, point of sale testing and quality assurance;
- Assist with the management and integrity of the NAC Box Office CRM database;
- Work collaboratively with and assist the Box Office Program Specialists including receipt of subscription orders, processing of payments, allocation of seats, quality assurance, printing and mailing of tickets and financial reconciliation;
- Liaise with other NAC departments and outside companies;
- Prepare monthly, weekly, daily and custom reporting; and
- Other additional responsibilities as required, may include occasional supervisory duties.
Skill Requirements
- Completion of secondary school and three (3) years experience of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Advanced level in Windows environment and its programs; MS Office Suite and the use of Internet Strong understanding of, and ability to use, spreadsheets;
- Extremely detail oriented with excellent documentation skills;
- Sound organizational and time management skills and the ability to evaluate, prioritize and manage a variety of competing demands and activities simultaneously;
- Ability to work under pressure in an energetic and fast-paced environment and deliver accurate results quickly to stay ahead of the business needs;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and clients and the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently;
- Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision;
- Proactive approach to work;
- Fluently bilingual in both official languages (verbal and written);
- Basic understanding of HTML an asset;
- A past record of satisfactory attendance and punctuality is a requirement.
