AsEnvironmental Project Manager you will be the orchestra conductorof environmental initiatives in varied sectors such astransportation (road rail) mines and metals port facilities andenergy.

Your missions will be diverse and stimulating ranging fromthe strategic platform to coordination of leading teams. You willhave the opportunity to conduct impact assessments as well asprojects for implementation of ecoresponsible solutions such asconstruction of roads and civil engineering structures climatechange renewable energy restoration of mine sites and much more.

• Strategic planning : Developinnovative strategies for the development of largescaleenvironmental projects;
• Teamcoordination : direct and inspire multidisciplinaryteams favouring collaboration and innovation;
• Resource management : Optimize the use of available resources to ensure the projectssuccess;
• Projectmanagement : Guarantee the fluid progress ofinitiatives by maintaining a balance between quality anddeadlines;
• Coaching anddevelopment of professionals : Contribute yourexpertise to the teams young professionals foster theirprofessional development and encourage their growth within thecompany;
• Environmental projectmanagement : Design coordinate and supervise theperformance of environmental projects in transportation and in themining and energy fields evaluate the performance of mitigationmeasures and propose recommendations;
• Environmentalsustainability : Promote sustainable practices andenvironmentally respectful solutions to minimize negative impactand favour positive results;
• Regulatory compliance : Planand supervise the preparation of environmental authorizationapplications;
• Environmental riskmanagement : Identify assess and mitigate thepotential environmental risks / issues at different steps of theprojects;
• Client relationshipproposal and management : Contribute to thedevelopment of proposals by involving various aspects such asstrategy and operational planning and ensure the relationship withthe client for project budget and deadline management;
• Communication and reports : Prepare detailed report impact assessments and recommendations forinternal and external stakeholders.

Yourprofile

• Bachelorsdegree in biology geography engineering or any other relevantdiscipline in environment and project management;
• Masters degree in environmental science biologyengineering of any other relevant education or experience (anadvantage);
• Minimum of 10 years experienceincluding 5 years experience as an environmental project manager;
• Marine environment and mining experience willbe considered an advantage;
• Excellentknowledge of environmental laws and regulations;
• Excellent communication teamwork and multidisciplinaryproject management skills;
• Excellentleadership skills;
• Ability to work in adynamic environment and take on complex challenges;
• Excellent aptitudes for writing and analysis and abilityto synthesize;
• Be structured in management oftime and priorities;
• Proficiency in oral andwritten English. French will be considered as anasset.
