Join us as our new Senior Security Engineer (Network Security) , where you will bring extensive expertise in incident management, firewall rule administration, and cutting-edge technologies such as Cloudflare and Netskope.
Reporting directly to the Manager, Network Security, you'll play a key role in fortifying our organization against cyber threats, leading daily event monitoring, and incident response.
What will you be doing?
- Lead daily security event monitoring, incident management, and response, demonstrating proficiency in firewall rule administration on Cisco ASA & FTD, Palo Alto NG firewalls.
- Implement Cloud web application firewalls like Azure Front Door, Cloudflare, and manage rules in Netskope Security Service Edge.
- Drive DLP rule management, CASB, and DLP deployment and management, with a focus on Azure Security Center, Azure Defender, Azure AD security, Microsoft ATP, O365 Security and compliance, and Sentinel One.
- Guide Infrastructure teams in selecting and deploying SD WAN solutions for 400+ locations.
- Manage SIEM & SOAR Tools, particularly Splunk Enterprise Security, and apply scripting languages, specifically PowerShell and Python.
- Conduct threat management, Vulnerability Management using Tenable, and implement micro-segmentation networks in Azure.
- Independently investigate and close daily security incidents, mentor SOC analysts, and efficiently document activities.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, process adherence, and process improvisation.
- Develop processes to enhance the Security Operations Framework, review policies, and address SLA challenges.
- Conduct threat modeling, identify vectors, and develop use cases for security monitoring.
- Integrate standard and non-standard logs in SIEM, identify areas for improvement, and participate in on-call duties for off-shift major incidents, ensuring a resilient and secure network environment.
What experience do you have?
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in security or any related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 suite, Sentinel One / Cylance.
- Working knowledge of network routing and switching.
- React quickly, decisively, and deliberately in high-stress situations.
- Understanding of Windows Operating Systems for desktops and servers.
- Microsoft Azure Certification (Required).
- Optional certifications : Cisco, Palo Alto, Security+, CISSP.
- Nice-to-have : Experience in a 24x7 Security Operations Center or Managed Security Service Provider.
