Wood is currently seeking an Intermediate Process Engineer in Edmonton, AB to expand our team within the Oil & Gas Canada business.
The successful candidate will be engaged in projects across several areas including oil and gas (upstream, midstream, downstream), energy transition and petrochemical industries.
We are seeking experienced engineers with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our performance across the full life cycle of projects, including study phase, DBM, FEED and Detailed Design.

Please note this role will work our standard office hybrid work schedule.
- Currently registered or eligible for registration with APEGA.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Have 5 to 10 years’ (maximum) experience with the majority spent working in refining, petrochemicals or oil & gas industries.
- Must have working ability in HYSYS and / or ProMax.
- Must be able to conduct hydraulics.
- Working ability in AFT Fathom / Arrow is an asset.
- Strong written and oral communication (English) skills.
- Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals.
- Must be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
- PHA experience is an asset.
