Commercial Lines Account Manager
Commercial Insurance can be complicated but it can also be one of the most interesting and variety-filled opportunities within the property and casualty business side of an insurance brokerage.
Wanting to continue to grow our successful book of commercial business, we are looking for a Commercial Lines Broker to service an existing book to ensure our amazing commercial clients have the coverage they need and the level of service they deserve.
In this role you will also have the opportunity to receive commission to grow the book through new business sales, referrals, cross sell, etc.
with support from Marketing.
So What Will You Spend Your Days Doing?
Other than working alongside a great team of colleagues, you will
- Use your passion and knowledge of commercial insurance to understand your client’s insurance needs and risk information to ensure accuracy and optimal insurance solutions.
- Manage and service all aspects of the customer life cycle from quote to renewal, endorsements, remarket and cancellations.
- Work closely with the Producers to ensure clients have the right protection at the right time.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers.
- Recognize and realize cross sell opportunities where it makes sense; remarket policies as necessary.
- Diligent follow up on clients’ accounts to ensure outstanding issues and activities are resolved.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be RIBO licensed.
- Minimum 2 years Commercial Lines Broker experience.
- Proven track record servicing an assigned book of business.
- Remain current and develop expertise in assigned markets and stay open to new market opportunities.
- Demonstrated relationship building expertise.
- Must remain professional and serve as an ambassador of the company brand promise at all times.
- Working knowledge of TAM is an asset.
