The Financial Analyst is responsible for ongoing parts process improvements, including the current reconciliation of parts as well as all other Parts related accounts, such as core receivables, miscellaneous parts, and Reman core accounting.
Need to be available with accounting team at Month End Evening and / or Weekend work at Month & Year End.*

In a typical day, YOU will :
- Constantly analyzing part variances and looking for reasons causing the variances as well as identifying improvements in the parts rec that could be automated
- Analyzing all parts document types and determining whether they should be booked to the GL or always be a reconciling #
- Determine tolerance levels to use for items to be analyzed
- Following up with Parts department and other branches as necessary to assist with processes and controls
- Complete the following reconciliations on a monthly basis :
- Parts reconciliation DBS to GL
- Core receivables 02508 000 & 02508 950
- Parts reserve and branch obsolescence
- Work with the Product Support Accounting Manager and CAT core supervisor to ensure that all Reman and CAT cores are accounted for properly
- Assistance in other areas as required
Must-haves for this role :
- CPA designation or in final stages of completion
- 5+ years experience working in General Accounting

- Effective decision making and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional communication, relationship development and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various levels across the organization

- Highly proficient with computers and systems, including Excel
