Key objectives will include floor supervision of the banquet areas, continuous development of the service team, and ensuring a productive, well-maintained working environment.

The Role :
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a strong 4-star service and leadership experience to join our Restaurant service teams.

They will ensure that the team is working at optimum service levels to ensure that our guests needs are met.
Job duties :
- Collaborate with clients to plan and organize banquet events, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings and events.
- Coordinate event logistics, including setup and take down, decorations, audiovisual equipment and seating arrangements.
- Train and supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders and event setup crew.
- Direct supervise staff during events, ensuring the highest quality service and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Anticipate the guests needs and provide exceptional service to enhance their experience.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of events.
Employment Experience and Educational Requirements :
- Minimum, 3-years of food and beverage experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Previous Banquets experience considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the clients, guests and team members effectively.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and coordinate events simultaneously.
- Quick decision making and problem solving skills to handle unexpected issues during events.
- Deep understanding of hospitality industry standards and trends.
- Have a valid ProServe certification.
- Experience working in a variety of restaurant settings.
- Completion of a business or hospitality degree is preferred.
