Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck & Trailer Service Technician to join our team and help ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet.
This critical role involves performing regular maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, and working on trucks and trailers to keep our transport services running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities :
Truck & Trailer Inspections : Perform comprehensive inspections on trucks and trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Preventive Maintenance : Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, fluid checks, and more to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Diagnostics & Repairs : Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Work on engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems to maintain and improve fleet reliability.
Documentation & Record-Keeping : Maintain accurate service records by documenting all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with other technicians and team members to prioritize and complete service requests efficiently and ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
Workplace Organization & Safety : Keep the service area clean and well-organized, following safety procedures and ensuring the work environment promotes productivity and accident prevention.
Stay Current : Continuously update your knowledge of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to truck and trailer service to improve work efficiency and safety.
Requirements :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant technical training in vehicle maintenance is an asset, but not required.
Experience : Hands-on experience or basic knowledge in auto mechanics, vehicle maintenance, or related fields is a plus.
Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail when diagnosing and repairing issues, ability to work both independently and as part of a team excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Licensing & Certifications : A valid driver’s license is required, additional certifications related to vehicle repair (e.
g., ASE certification, CDL, or specialized training) are a plus, but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements : Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy parts, using hand tools, and standing for long periods.
Learning & Adaptability : Willingness to learn new techniques, tools, and technologies related to truck and trailer service, and adapt to a dynamic, evolving work environment.
