About the Program
The Career Ready Program (CRP) aims to support and empower individuals to acquire the skills and knowledge required for employment and long-term economic sustainability.
The CRP team works with individuals one-on-one to provide services such as resume reviews, interview preparation, and job search support.
CRP also hosts in-person and virtual events to share career preparation and advancement tips.
Additionally, CRP shares information on career trends, job opportunities, and vocational training programs more broadly within the Jamat.
About the Role
This role does not require any technical expertise. While the team consists of advisors and resume reviewers, this role is the first point of contact with a Murid to gather information and triage the case to the appropriate regional lead.
This is a remote role and does not require any in-person work.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Call Murid to gather appropriate information from them. This may involve reading from a script.
- Enter data and information on an app which can be accessed via desktop or mobile.
- Make an assessment based on a checklist and triage the case to the appropriate group.
- Share general resources and Working in Canada 101 course with Murid using email templates provided.
- Acquire documents such as resumes and other documents as needed and upload to Murid file on application being utilized.
- Reports to National Deputy - Career Ready Program.
About You
This role is not technical but requires someone who is empathetic when communicating with Murids and passionate about serving.
- Capability to communicate in English.
- Fluency in Dari is an advantage.
- Demonstrates empathy and compassion in interactions with Murids.
- Exhibits strong time management abilities.
- Consistently punctual and efficient in fulfilling responsibilities.
