Position Title : Business Systems Analyst
Client : Manufacturing - Steel Pipes
Location : Concord, ON - 5 days per week (north York / Vaughn area)
Rate; 95-105k annual
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's / College Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Business or equivalent.
- 5+ years of IT work experience.
- Experienced with managing and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with at least 1 full scale ERP implementation experience.
Ideally direct experience implementing and / or supporting IFS Cloud ERP.
- Working knowledge of business intelligence tools, especially Power BI.
- Experience in systems / business process analysis, user support and customer service.
- Adept at identifying inefficiencies in Business Processes and technology solutions.
- Ability to explain and present technical concepts and theories to a non-technical audience.
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability with a continuous improvement mindset
- Highly effective project management skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills with individuals at all levels of the organization and works well in a team environment.
Position Summary
Welded Tube of Canada is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to provide depth and experience for its IT operations located in Canada and the U.
S. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who enjoys rolling up his or her sleeves and working with the team to achieve goals, bring about successful change and increase customer satisfaction.
The Business Systems Analyst will be a process change expert and extremely knowledgeable in modern ERP systems, ideally IFS Cloud ERP.
Design, testing and training experience will be key to support Welded Tube’s transition to a new ERP system, and business process improvements.
This position will be responsible for a broad range of functional areas, and report to the IT Manager, Business Systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
Play a key role in the IFS implementation project.
Work with the user community to identify improvements to business processes.
Work to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Presents new or emerging trends and technologies that provide clear benefits to the organization.
Identify opportunities and recommend IT solutions that will enhance or improve current business processes and end-user productivity.
Lead meetings to identify requirements, develop effective solutions and moderate functional discussions.
Creates, maintains, and enforces standards / procedures for implementing technical solutions on new and existing applications.
Conduct effective gap analysis and draft Functional Specifications.
Work with internal and external teams to design, develop and implement technological changes.
Accurately document business processes, business requirements, technical designs and change requests.
Provide user training, testing and support activities as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the IT Manager.
