COMPANY OVERVIEW
The Prairie Payments Joint Venture (PPJV) is a joint venture owned by three Prairie centrals created to digitally transform and modernize payment services for credit unions in the Prairies.
PPJV's goal is to ensure Prairie credit unions are competitive in payments and have access to efficient, modernized payments processing infrastructure.
Role Summary
This position is responsible for developing strategic communications plans and executing tactical marketing and communication activities to support the strategic and operational needs of Prairie Payments Joint Venture (PPJV).
This position will keep key internal and external stakeholders informed and engaged as well as increase credit union system understanding and awareness of PPJV.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide expertise and guidance to executive teams and project leads on communications methodology and strategies. This includes supporting the development of annual communications and marketing strategies that help PPJV achieve its strategic goals
- Developing / executing communications and engagement tools - this includes program updates, payment feature sheets, presentations, web copy
- Develop an internal communications strategy to help support employee engagement and sense of community
- Support sponsorship and conference speaking efforts
- Manage PPJV digital and social media properties and any media relations efforts
- Provide incident response communications planning and messaging
- Develop and implement an integrated marketing plan to advance PPJV's brand identity and effectively position the company with key customers and industry players
- Manage the Prairie Payments internal information portal and external public website including updating / developing all web content
- Manage content and distribution of the client newsletter
- Support material and presentation development for the PPJV Engagement Team (for townhalls)
- Support communications / marketing budgets process
- Establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with the PPJV Engagement Team, leads and senior leadership team
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Related University, college, formal certification and a minimum of eight years related experience; or a combination of formal education and experience
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong project management skills
- Possess high level of technical proficiency using MS Office programs specifically PPT and ability to do basic work in WordPress and be able to learn other technical systems including Adobe InDesign
- Professional designation is an asset (IABC or CPRS)
- Must be bondable
