Position : Accounting Technician
Location : Downtown Montreal
Salary : Up to $75,000 annually, based on experience

We are currently seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to join a dedicated team. In this role you will play a pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, reconciliation of vendor statements, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Receive and compile invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
- Verify prices and perform mathematical calculations.
- Code invoices accurately and obtain necessary approvals.
- Record invoices in the accounting system.
- Prepare and issue payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor credit card transactions and record invoices and payments accordingly.
- Complete account setup forms with new suppliers.
- Maintain organized and accessible filing system for invoices.
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or Operations Director.
Skills and Qualifications :
- At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Fluent bilingual proficiency (oral and written) to communicate internationally.
- Proficiency with Maestro and QuickBooks software preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Knowledge of account reconciliation procedures.
- Familiarity with human resources processes related to accounts payable.
