Position : HR Generalist
Location : Downtown Montreal (hybrid, minimum 10 days / month in office)
Salary : $75,000 to $90,000 (depending on experience)

Our client a global company specialized in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management services for mining projects with a culture of work-life balance, freedom, autonomy, passionate and collaborative team, is looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to join their Montreal team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement HR policies and procedures developed in Toronto, ensuring compliance with Quebec labor laws.
- Be the face of HR for the Montreal business unit.
- Provide excellent service and support to employees across all disciplines (mining engineers, project managers, etc.).
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution.
- Partner with the business to achieve strategic goals, with potential growth into a strategic HR Business Partner role focusing on employee engagement.
- Champion passion projects aligned with employee interests.
Ideal Candidate :
- 2-6 years of HR generalist.
- Quebec civil law knowledge a must.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, organizational design, or a related field.
- French fluency required; business bilingualism for communications with Canadian head office in Toronto.
- Doer" mentality with a focus on solutions and getting things done.
- High empathy, emotional intelligence, and ability to function in gray areas.
- Adaptable and comfortable working with a "no black and white" approach.
- Strong attention to detail for handling complex contracts.
- Consulting or technical background a plus.
