38 / hr - $20.53 / hr Reports to : Site Supervisor Key Responsibilities : Access Control : Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter.

Verify identification and issue temporary passes as needed. Patrol Duties : Conduct regular patrols , to detect and deter any suspicious activity or potential security threats.

Surveillance Monitoring : Operate and monitor surveillance and alarm systems to identify and respond to any security breaches.

Incident Response : Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, taking appropriate action to resolve the situation and minimize risk.

Report Writing : Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily logs, and other security documentation as needed.

Maintain clear communication with supervisors and other security personnel. Customer Service : Provide assistance and guidance to visitors and employees, ensuring a positive experience while maintaining security standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Must possess a valid BC Security Workers License or be willing to obtain it. Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and be minimum 19 years of age.

Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Proficiency in using security technology (e.g., alarm and access control systems). Physical fitness and ability to perform duties requiring standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods.

Working Conditions : Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required. Must be able to work in various weather conditions if patrols involve outdoor areas.
