Job Title Project Controls Analyst (Risk) Location Toronto, ON CA (Primary) Category Engineering, Project Controls, Project Management Job Type Full-time Job Responsibilities (Internal Title : Risk II) Assist in preparing procedures, training materials, and work instructions relating to the principle of risk and opportunity management Contribute to the development of the Risk Breakdown Structure aligned with project WBS and CBS Provide technical support to the management of project risk through the facilitation of regular risk reviews at the project and program level Maintain risk registers at the project and program level Support the performance of Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis using Risk Management software (e.

g. Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Risk, etc.) and the interpretation of analysis results (e.g. Distribution S Curve Graph, Sensitivity Analysis Tornado Chart, etc.

Coordinate the preparation of detailed project and program risk reports including P50 and P80 cost and schedule risk exposures Follow up with risk owners to ensure mitigation actions are on track Collaborate with Supervisor in ensuring that all program team members comply with the risk management plan, procedures, and requirements of the assigned scope of work Participate in the review of contractor progress reports and identifying the risks impacting project cost and schedule and reflect them in the risk register, while working closely with team and stakeholders Consult with assigned supervisor and scheduling to prepare high-level schedules (or assess detailed schedules) to be used for quantitative schedule risk analysis and defining the link between risks, duration uncertainties, and schedule activities Liaise with supervisor and cost to monitor project contingency utilization and alignment with cost risk exposures Recommend input to supervisor and reporting for project and program-level reporting Evaluate risk mitigation effectiveness by consulting with clients, project staff, and assigned supervisor or higher Interact with the assigned supervisor or higher to seek guidance and input during risk management activities Complete any tasks assigned by supervisor or higher in an efficient and timely manner Working Conditions Office-based Qualifications Required Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in Risk Management Education : Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Licenses OR Certifications : Registered for and seeking recognized Risk Management certification such as Risk Management Professional (RMP) Skills and Competencies : Effective skills in Microsoft Office Proficient in Risk Management software, Active Risk Manager (ARM), Oracle Primavera Risk Analyzer (OPRA), Acumen Risk, etc.

Competent in Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse and MS Project Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal) Equipped to work independently and as part of a team Strong people skills and confidence to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders Readiness to work autonomously and interface with a wide cross-section of personnel Skilled to adapt to changing priorities from different levels of the organization Comtech Group Inc.
