Position : Data Scientist
Location : Toronto
Job Type : 6-month contract + possibility of extension
Schedule : Hybrid, 2 days onsite
We are searching for a Data Scientist with experience in Cloud Computing, AI, GenAI, Machine Learning.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and inspire a team of data scientists, offering support, mentorship, and strategic guidance.
- Design, prioritize, and manage data initiatives that align with organizational objectives.
- Build and deploy advanced analytics systems and predictive models to derive actionable insights.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and accuracy across all projects.
- Analyze and interpret complex data challenges to guide key business decisions.
- Create and present data visualizations and reports that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Innovate with emerging models and techniques to enhance data-driven product offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into business processes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in data science or a similar domain.
- Solid foundation in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data management practices.
- Skilled in programming languages like Python and R, with experience in SQL and NoSQL database systems.
