I am currently looking for a rare pearl to occupy a permanent daytime industrial mechanic position in greater Ottawa for a company specializing in the industrial maintenance.

As a Daytime Industrial Mechanic, your next responsibilities will include :
- Installation, assembly, repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems
- Proficient in repairing Lift Trucks, Material Handling Equipment’s
- Troubleshooting and adjustment of mechanical and electrical systems
- Travel to customers for work
- Workshop work (cutting, drilling, tapping, etc.
- Handling of industrial equipment and their components;
- Evaluates and establishes prices, according to customer requests for services on the road, collaborates directly with the buyer and the parts clerk
- Plan and estimate for service customers
- Maintenance of customer relations
Here is the profile sought for the day industrial mechanic position :
- DEP in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience working on conveyor equipment (asset)
- ASP construction competency card (strong asset)
- Have technical skills, as well as manual dexterity
- Bilingual in English and French (strong written and oral skills)
- Excellent sense and approach to customer service
- Ability to work on the road
- Good stress management.
