Profile sought :
- OIIAQ permit
- Diploma of professional studies in health, assistance and nursing
- Experience with geriatric clients losing their autonomy (an asset)
- Resourcefulness, empathy and developed listening skills!
Tasks and responsibilities :
- Provide nursing care and treatment with the aim of maintaining and restoring health, preventing illness and providing palliative care;
- Collaborate in assessing the health status of residents by collecting relevant information on a daily basis;
- Contribute to the management of crisis situations in collaboration with the care team;
- Ensure adequate supervision at all times;
- Promote the creation of a calm climate in order to promote rest for residents;
- Collaborate in supportive care according to the 14 basic needs;
- Participate in team meetings to update the various nursing tools;
- Create and maintain interactions between the family and the resident in order to encourage their involvement in decision-making.
