Business Analyst
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Business Analyst.
Business Analyst Job Duties :
the Business Analyst will be key members of the Cloud Services team. The team is seeking qualified project resources to support the gathering and documentation of business requirements needed to implement IT infrastructure, cloud, and other strategic initiatives.
The duties of the Business Analyst will include :
- Leading site strategic implementation sessions with clinical / operational / business leadership committees,
- Leading tactical implementation sessions with programs and departments,
- Designing and deploying strategic project implementation approaches with programs and departments,
- Validating and documenting current state and future state workflows for specific IT use cases with engaged programs / departments,
- Identifying and facilitating any updates required to existing policies, guidelines and processes that impact the use of changing technologies,
- Supporting the development of change management tactics, mobile application toolkits, instructions, and training materials,
- Developing or assisting in the development of design documents, requirements analysis, testing plans, test cases, use cases, process flows, procedures, and policies,
- Supporting the development of business cases and briefing notes as required,
- Working with health authorities and technical teams from multiple organizations including IMITS, Vendors, and VPP,
- Supporting the retirement of sunsetting technologies with many aspects of project delivery including planning, risk management, deliverables, communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement, and
- Performing other project activities as directed by the project manager and the program manager as needed.
Business Analyst Job Requirements :
Critical
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst for large complex IT projects
- 2+ years experience with BC Health Authorities
- Superior analytical skills including the ability to comprehend, analyze and resolve complex issues and present information in concise meaningful ways
- Knowledge and demonstrated success in workflow analysis or business process re-engineering is required
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Must have demonstrated experience leading and delivering enterprise level projects
- Demonstrated capability in handling sensitive and challenging situations
- Demonstrated capability to work with Senior Management team and Executives
- Must be able to work independently to solve problems

12. Good proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
13. Ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks with constantly changing requirements

16. Strong organizational and time management skills
Highly Desirable
- Certified Business Analyst (CPC) designation (or equivalent).
- A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Clinical Informatics, or related discipline, plus a minimum of five (5) years recent related experience in health care or information management.
- Experience with PHSA, VCH, and / or PHC.
- Strong working relationships with HA stakeholders and IMIT departments.
- Hands on experience working with / training in a clinical environment a plus.
References
References (supervisor level) will be requested and checked for all past BC Health Authority experience (within last 5 years).
