Job #4675 Our client, an established Crown Corporation, is looking for a Senior Analyst to join their team. The ideal person for this role will be a career-driven team player with excellent communication skills and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
You will enjoy researching and collaborating with a small but mighty team! Reporting to the Manager, External Reporting, the main responsibilities include :
- Provide transactional analysis against IFRS standards and internal policies
- Prepare journal entries
- Draft financial statements, including supporting documentation
- Research complex accounting treatments and draft position papers
- Other duties as required

Qualifications
Mandatory :
The main qualifications for this role include :
- Completed CPA designation
- Minimum 5+ years in a progressive accounting role, with 2 years’ experience in financial reporting under IFRS
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 10 years (be able to obtain Secret security clearance)
Definite Assets :
- Bilingual (French / English)
- TM1, Cognos and / or Business Intelligence
Compensation, Perks & Opportunities :
- $87,000 $109,000 annual salary
