Fuze HR is seeking a talented, passionate heavy-duty mechanic for an exciting opportunity in East Van. The successful candidate will play an integral role in day-to-day fleet maintenance operations, working within a clean, organized 3-bay shop performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair.

What are the Responsibilities?
- Regular service of a large commercial fleet of trucks and trailers, performing preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity
- Use computerized & manual diagnostic techniques and devices to diagnose and isolate faults effectively
- Identify malfunctions / future issues as part of preventative maintenance processes, repair / modify as necessary
- Inspect engines, road test vehicles, test automative system & components
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and systems
- Review and sign off on work orders, maintain accurate records of work performed
- Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune ups
- Uphold / adhere to strict safety standards
What are the Requirements?
- Red Seal preference for Commercial Transport, will accept Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Trailer Mechanic with appropriate experience
- CVIP certification
- 3+ years of heavy truck & trailer maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Class 3 Driver’s Licensed desirable
- Ability to work both day and afternoon shifts on a rotating basis
