Job Title : General Labourer (Construction) Fall Protection Certified
Location : Vancouver, BC
Shift : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 2 : 00 PM
Job Description :
We are seeking a General Labourer to assist skilled workers on a construction site in Vancouver. The successful candidate will support the installation of anchors for HVAC components, window cleaning systems, and other building maintenance systems.
This position requires fall protection certification and an ability to follow basic instructions and work safely at heights.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist skilled workers by gathering and moving materials to job sites.
- Perform general site cleanup and material handling.
- Operate simple hand tools (e.g., drills, wrenches) as required by the task.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed, especially when working at heights.
- Complete daily site orientation and report to site supervisors and foreman as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of Fall Protection Equipment.
Required Qualifications :
- Fall Protection Certificate (required).
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction site operations.
- Must be able to communicate in English .
- No prior construction experience is necessary, though a willingness to learn is essential.
Desirable Qualifications :
Previous experience in a construction or general labour role is a plus.
