The team :
Our Tangerine team manages the technology & computer infrastructure that drives Tangerine's business systems. This includes End-User Technical Support, Voice & Data Communications, Business & Web Applications, and Strategic Technical Planning.
The role :
Reporting to the Manager, Technical Support and Services, Applications, you are responsible for the implementation, administration, and technical support of Tangerine's Wintel Active Directory environment from an installed applications perspective.
You will combine solid technical knowledge, a strong analytical skill and hands-on working experience in the administration and support of the Windows platform, while maintaining a highly secure, reliable, and optimized operating environment.
In addition, you are responsible to implement, upgrade, administer and update / patch the server applications regularly.
As well, responsible for vulnerability management on Windows Servers and keeping systems well updated on security and other patches & configure changes regularly.
Although our Level 3 support team is primarily working 100% remotely from home, when required, you will be expected to work onsite at our office location.
In this role, you will be expected to provide rotational 24x7, on-call support AND rotational after-hours project deployments in the evenings or weekends.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
You possess strong communication (verbal / written) skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Furthermore, you also have good interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external business partners and vendors.
- You have at least 5+ years of progressive & current hands-on technical working experience with the systems administration (installation, administration, configuration) of Windows Servers 2016 & 2019 in a medium to large-enterprise environment.
- You have at least 4+ years of hands-on technical working experience in the installation, administration, configuration of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) AND System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) servers.
- You have at least 3+ years of hands-on technical working experience with IIS.
- You possess hands-on technical working experience in the use of PowerShell scripting to perform automation tasks.
- You can demonstrate working experience with an ITIL-based ticketing system.
- An asset to have hands-on technical working knowledge of O365 (MS Exchange / MS Teams / One Drive).
- An asset to also have hands-on technical working knowledge of CyberArk & anti-virus servers.
- You possess excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- You can adapt to working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- You must have attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- You can demonstrate a consistent track record in continuous learning.
- Completion of a post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering or in a related technology-based stream.
