Position : Deli Manager

Full-time : 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability : Weekdays and weekends- Mornings and afternoons and evenings.

Responsibilities :

As the Deli Department Manager, you will oversee all operations of the deli department, ensuring budget adherence, inventory control, and accurate merchandising.

• Responsible for the overall operations of the deli department
• Ensure adherence to the departmental budget
• Oversee inventory control, ordering and receiving for the department
• Ensure the deli department is appropriately merchandised including tagging and pricing accuracy
• Maintain excellent customer service by tracking, monitoring and following up with customer concerns
• Participate in recruitment, training, development and performance management of all team members in the department
• Ensure proper preparation of promotions and displays are completed
• Provide strong leadership and support to team members within the department

Qualifications :

• Grade 12 or an acceptable combination of education and experience,
• Three (3) years retail supervisory experience,
• Business related education would be an asset,
• Experience in managing business initiatives including analysis of financial results,
• Previous experience in leading a deli department is considered an asset.
