What will your typical day look like?

As a SAFe Scrum Master, you will :

Agile Facilitation : Act as a SAFe Scrum Master for one or more development teams, guiding them through the Scrum framework and promoting agile practices.

Facilitate all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.

Cloud Expertise : Possess a foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts and the services offered by major public cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and / or Azure.

Be able to provide guidance on cloud-related decisions and help teams leverage cloud services effectively.

Team Empowerment : Coach and mentor team members in agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization.

Assist teams in identifying and removing impediments to their progress.

• Collaboration : Foster collaboration and communication between development teams, product owners, and stakeholders. Ensure a clear understanding of the product backlog items and their priorities.
• Continuous Improvement : Drive the adoption of agile best practices and principles, encouraging teams to iteratively improve their processes and deliver high-quality products.

Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance team productivity and efficiency.

Metrics and Reporting : Collect and analyze relevant agile and team performance metrics to provide insights into team progress and identify areas of concern.

Present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Technical Awareness : Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in cloud computing.

Use this knowledge to assist teams in making informed decisions about cloud architecture and technology selection.

Conflict Resolution : Act as a mediator in conflicts, helping teams to find resolutions that promote collaboration and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent agile certification.
• Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and / or Azure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to facilitate meetings, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and their integration with cloud technologies is a plus.
• Experience with other agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, SAFe) is a plus.

Preferred Skills / Certification :

• Cloud Foundations Certification from one of the following : AWS, Azure, GCP
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• SAFe Release Train Engineer or SAFe ScrumMaster
• Project Manager Professional (PMP)
