BASF’s Coatings division is a global expert in the development, production and marketing of innovative and sustainable automotive OEM and refinish coatings, decorative paints as well as applied surface treatments for metal, plastic, and glass substrates in a wide range of industries.

As a North American Sales Manager, Automotive Refinish Coatings, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Account Managers that will be accountable for driving growth, acquiring new customers, and ensuring the effective management and training of the sales team.

- Driving revenue growth by acquiring and converting new customers to BASF and Automotive Refinish Technologies (ART).
- Leading a professional sales organization providing coaching, training, and development to hold each individual sales representative accountable to accelerate the sales process to achieve optimal results.
- Utilizing Salesforce to document and track sales activities, ensuring all team members adhere to the plan and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborating with others to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to delivery and support.
- Preparing and presenting sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Setting an example for others by working professionally, safely, diligently, effectively, and efficiently.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable government regulations, while travelling extensively throughout North America.
If you have...
- Completed bachelor’s degree, (in a business discipline) is preferred.
- A professional, positive, determined, customer-centric, hands-on, and can-do attitude.
- A proven track record in sales management, experience in customer conversion, and the ability to lead and motivate a team of individuals situated remotely throughout North America.
- Strong organizational skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under high expectations.
- Advanced experience in utilizing all MS Office tools and Salesforce.
