ca / careers. This OpportunityWe are currently looking to fill 1 Part-time Personal Support Worker role known internally as Support Service Attendant for the Independent Living Attendant Services Program in Barrhaven, Ontario (East Region).

Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, 10-15 hours per week. Starting wage is $21.14, inclusive of the $3.

00 per hour wage enhancement from the Ontario government for hours spent directly supporting clients. The wage enhancement does not apply to training, travel and paid leave.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation REQUIREDRoles and responsibilities Assists clients in their own homes with non-medical activities of daily living in accordance with individual service plans and with March of Dimes Canada policies and procedures : Personal careLifts and TransfersRising / retiringBowel and bladder proceduresMeal preparation and feedingRange of motion exercisesOther light housekeeping duties Performs duties in a professional manner, which respects the dignity and right to privacy and maintains consumer and staff health and safety.

March of Dimes Canada provides 24-hour attendant care to its clients. Support ServicesAttendants work a variety of shifts (i.
