The School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
This role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.

Responsibilities :
Assessment and Diagnosis : Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders and develop treatment plans.
Therapy and Intervention : Implement individualized therapy programs and monitor progress.
Collaboration and Consultation : Work with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate strategies into the classroom and support student needs.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintain records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
Serve as a member of the instructional team, performing related duties as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Qualifications :
Experience in a school setting.
Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
Ability to manage a caseload efficiently.
Licensing and Certification :
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
