RÔLE
Sous la direction de la Cheffe de la production, le.la directeur.directrice de post production est responsable de la gestion de l’équipe de post production, ainsi que du bon déroulement des projets en cours en post production.
Il.elle est responsable de maintenir une collaboration et communication saine entre les départements (service conseil et création), les partenaires (fournisseurs ou pigistes) ainsi que les différents intervenants inter-bureaux (Toronto et US).
RESPONSABILITÉS
- Supervision et gestion de l’équipe de post production (post-producteur.trice, coordonnateur.trice, monteur.e, motion designer et assistant.es).
- Collaboration étroite avec la Cheffe de la production et productrice exécutive (rencontre hebdomadaire, statut de département, plan stratégique annuelle, etc.).
- Gestion et prise en charge de certains projets selon le workload des post producteur.trices.
- Agir à titre de personne-ressource en post-prod envers les producteurs.trices, le service-conseil et la création.
- Gestion optimale de l'assignation des projets selon les priorités et le taux d'occupation des ressources internes (post-producteur.
rice, coordonnateur.trice, monteur.se et motion designer).
- Mise en place (ou ajustement) de procédures pour optimiser l’efficience des projets et du département.
- Développer et maintenir des relations avec les autres bureaux : Toronto, LA principalement, ainsi que Paris et Londres.
- Gestion optimale des pigistes.
- Formation de l’équipe et éducation des autres départements.
- Responsable du recrutement en collaboration du DC (motion designer ou monteur.se) ou du directeur technique (assistant) selon les besoins.
- Superviser l'archivage du projet, le classement des masters et assets récurrents avec le directeur technique.
- Superviser la gestion de la salle de podcast et de l’équipement.
- Demeurer à l’affût des nouveaux fournisseurs, techniques et tendances dans le milieu.
REQUIS
- Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en tant que post producteur.trice
- 2 ans d’expérience en tant que gestionnaire d’un département de post production;
- Baccalauréat dans une discipline pertinente;
- Très bonne connaissance technique de la post production;
- Bonne connaissance de la post production en agence ;
- Aptitude à travailler en équipe;
- Bonne gestion du stress et des priorités;
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit (collaborateurs et clients à l'échelle internationale).

ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Production, the Director, Post Production is responsible for managing the post production team, as well as the smooth running of ongoing projects in post production.
He / she is responsible for maintaining healthy collaboration and communication between departments (account services and creative), partners (suppliers or freelancers) and the various inter-office stakeholders (Toronto and US).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervision and management of the post-production team (post-producer, coordinator, editor, motion designer and assistants);
- Close collaboration with the Head of Production and Executive Producer (weekly meetings, department status, annual strategic plan, etc.);
- Manage and take charge of certain projects according to the workload of the post producers;
- Act as a resource person in post-production for producers, consulting and creation.
- Optimal management of project assignments according to priorities and the occupancy rate of internal resources (post-producer, coordinator, editor and motion designer);
- Implement (or adjust) procedures to optimize project and department efficiency;
- Develop and maintain relationships with other offices : Toronto, LA mainly, as well as Paris and London;
- Optimal management of freelancers;
- Team training and education of other departments;
- Responsible for recruitment in collaboration with the DC (motion designer or editor) or Technical Director (assistant) as required;
- Supervise project archiving, filing of masters and recurring assets with the Technical Director;
- Oversee management of podcast room and equipment;
- Keep abreast of new suppliers, techniques and trends in the industry.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a post producer;
- 2 years of management experience, leading a post-production department;
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline;
- Very good technical knowledge of post production;
- Good knowledge of agency post-production;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Good stress and priority management skills;
- Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (International collaborators and customers).
