Overview
We are an assistive technology company on a mission to remove barriers and make the world more accessible.
Our visual and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting service combines AI and live, human-to-human professional assistance for people who are blind, have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing.
Using the powerful combination of a camera, the Aira app on anyone’s device of choice, the latest machine learning models and professionally-trained interpreters, we will assist by visually interpreting what is in the camera’s view or the soundscape in their environment.
Describing, reading, explaining, navigating, translating just about anything, safely and securely.
At Aira we seek a culture where everyone feels empowered, where we continuously run experiments to test conjectures and where we work as a team to achieve great outcomes for our users as measured by our key results.
As a flat organization we encourage leadership from everyone but are looking for a designer whose experience and expertise allows them to have an outsized impact on the products we build, how we build them, how we connect with our users and our vision and strategy.
