We are currently recruiting for aSenior Conveyancer to join our Commercial Real Estate team on afulltime permanent basis.
The candidate must have extensiveknowledge and interest in commercial real estate law anddevelopment including airs space development
knowledgeof :
- Land development including phased developments strata developments and bare landstrata developments;
- Air space parcels andsubdivisions;
- Drafting and registering restrictivecovenants easements statutory right of ways and relateddoents;
- Commercialleasing;
- Strongwritten and verbal communication ss;
- Strong organizational ss and the ability tomeet critical timelines;
- The ability to multitask and attention todetail;
- The abilityto proactively manage all administrative functions of the positionincluding file management; and
- Advanced computer ss.
Duties include butare not limited to :
- Act as point of contact and fieldincoming inquiries from clients outside counsel andstaff;
- Doentpreparation and management and logistical support for commercialtransactions including;
- Perform due diligence searches including BCOnline registrations relating to companies Personal PropertyRegistry registrations LTSA searches and ancillary searchesrelating to transaction;
- Review financing facility letters forcommercial financing / development transactions and create / organizefile to accommodate requirements review and revise security doentsreceived from lender’s solicitors as required organizesecurity doents for and delivery to lender’s solicitorsand all other ancillary requirements for finalizing borrowingtransactions; and
- Prepare closing books trust reconciliationsbilling and reporting letters.
The successful candidatemust possess strong ss in Microsoft Office 365 including Word andExcel. Experience with PC Law and ALF is an et.
The successfulcandidate will have strong interpersonal ss along with the abilityto work with minimal supervision exercising initiative andjudgment.
