Quality Engineering Tester With Guidewire Suite With Automation Experience
What You’ll Do :
- Develop and execute integration test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand integration requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Perform end-to-end testing of integrated systems to ensure data integrity and system functionality.
- Validate data flows between systems and ensure accurate data mapping and transformation.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback from a testing perspective.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Report test progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in integration testing.
Skills and Experience We’re Looking For :
Must Have :
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Data testing.
- Strong understanding of Data testing and functional testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and testing.
- Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Guidewire Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimsCenter, and ContactManager).
- Experience with JIRA integration using API.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong SQL knowledge. Aviva : Internal
- Experience in Agile environments.
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.

- Experience in the Canadian Personal and / or Commercial Insurance industry.
- Excellent verbal and technical writing skills.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on integration testing
