HVAC Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities :

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair services on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various other building systems to maintain properties in peak operational condition.
• Conduct routine building maintenance and repairs efficiently.
• Follow safety guidelines and best practices, ensuring all work is performed safely and complies with industry standards.
• Identify energy-saving opportunities at facilities, including system and operational changes to decrease energy consumption.
• Work independently to plan and execute assignments with minimal supervision.
• Assist other trades and contractors as needed in the general maintenance and operation of buildings and grounds.
• Interact with clients daily, building good working relationships and representing the company professionally.

Qualifications :

• 4+ years of experience as a building operator or maintenance technician, preferably in a commercial, industrial, or retail environment.
• HVAC certification and experience with commercial properties.
• Clean and valid driver’s license. Role involves travel after the first project is complete.
• Ability to provide parking space (preferably not street parking) for the company van, which remains with the operator overnight.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
• BES Certification or SMA certification is considered an asset.

Role Details

• Monday to Friday (40 hours / week)
• Pay : $20-$26 / hour (based on experience)
• Weekly pay with Aerotek!
