Are you an experienced Machine Operator?
Agilus is recruiting for a Machine Operator in the printing industry in Mississauga, Ontario.
This is a contract opportunity with an industry leader retaining full time hours in both day shift (7am - 3pm) and afternoon shift (3pm - 11pm)
A typical day :
- Individuals in this position will be responsible for operating the machine and other equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Operate / monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
- Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
- Follow health & safety protocols while maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements :
- Mechanically inclined due to need for trouble shooting and standard maintenance routines.
- Basic Computer skills due to need to release jobs in queue by date, company, etc.
- Ability to follow written and / or verbal work instructions.
An ideal candidate has :
- College Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution, or a technical diploma / degree from a trade / technical institution
- Strong English-language writing and proofing skills
