We are currently seeking a Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager to join our tax practice in Toronto or Vancouver. We are looking for an individual who is committed to a career in taxation and has the desire to take a lead role in managing tax engagements and contributing both to the growth of the firm and our clients.
Our tax practice offers the opportunity to work in a range of tax and succession planning areas including estate & trust compliance, personal and corporate tax planning, purchase and sale of private businesses, estate planning, and cross border investment and compliance.
We are interested in meeting candidates with experience in any of these areas.
Your primary responsibilities will include :
Transfer Pricing Strategy Support : Assist in the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies aligning with organizational objectives and regulatory compliance.
Support the analysis of intercompany transactions, aiding in the determination of pricing methodologies and documentation requirements.
Contribute to advising clients on transfer pricing implications of strategic initiatives and business restructurings.
Transfer Pricing Compliance Assistance : Aid in overseeing the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation to ensure adherence to regulations.
Stay informed about changes in transfer pricing regulations, assisting in updating policies and documentation accordingly.
Provide support to clients in responding to transfer pricing inquiries and audits from tax authorities.
Intercompany Transactions Analysis : Assist in evaluating intercompany transactions, including tangible goods, services, and financing arrangements.
Support benchmarking analyses and economic studies to inform transfer pricing methodologies and pricing decisions. Assist in the development of intercompany agreements reflecting transaction terms and conditions.
Risk Management Support : Aid in identifying transfer pricing risks associated with intercompany transactions and propose mitigation strategies.
Assist in implementing advance pricing agreements (APAs) and other dispute resolution mechanisms to minimize risks. Provide support in offering guidance on transfer pricing best practices and risk mitigation strategies to clients.
Client Advisory Assistance : Support multinational clients in transfer pricing matters, collaborating with cross-functional teams under managerial guidance.
Assist in communicating transfer pricing concepts and recommendations to clients in a clear and tailored manner. Support the integration of transfer pricing solutions into clients' global tax planning efforts under the supervision of senior management.

Salary range : $85,000 - $100,000 per annum
