Qualifications
- This position requires a related undergraduate degree, preferably in journalism. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving news environment.
- Strong news writing abilities - traditional news reporting and feature writing.
- Strong knowledge of CP style.
- Familiarity with the Montreal Jewish community
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- A self-starter who is able to generate quality story ideas
- This is an English-language position, but ability to speak French is an asset.
