About the Client

Our client is sourcing a Tax Preparer for a 4-month contract.

About the Opportunity

• The Tax Preparer will assist the tax team in handling the Canadian tax compliance and reporting obligations for the Company Group, which includes both corporate and fund entities
• In this position, you will work closely with the tax team, liaise with the Client Finance and Corporate Accounting teams, and report directly to the Tax Manager
• Prepare tax working papers and filings for Canadian partnerships and corporations, including tax returns, information returns, and various other tax documents
• Collaborate with internal business units to address inquiries and information requests, ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting
• Provide support for ad-hoc tax analyses and assist with special projects as required

About You

• 1-2 years of experience preparing Canadian partnership and corporate tax working papers and related tax returns and related filings
• CPA or CPA in progress is an asset but not required
• Experience in public tax practice, real estate or similar industry is an asset but not required
• Proficiency in Taxprep is an asset but not required
