Our client is a wellelished lawfirm based in Langley recognized for their comprehensive legalservices. They are searching for a Senior Corporate Paralegal tojoin their corporate services division.
This role demands a highlyorganized detailoriented individual with excellent multitasking andcommunication ss with extensive experience and able to mentor andsupport the other junior and intermediate paralegals and someonewith experience handling complex tax reorganizations andtrusts.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Drafting corporate legal doentation includingincorporations amendments amalgamations continuances dissolutionscorporate and tax reorganizations various share transactions extraprovincial registrations various types of dividend transactionsname changes restorations and other doents asrequired
- Conductingminute book reviews and fixing deficiencies asrequired
- Preparingclosing agendas
- Corresponding with lawyers and clients toreceive and confirm instructions
- Mentoring training and coaching CorporateServices staff members
- Mentoring and shadowing junior andintermediate team members
- Performing other administrative duties asrequired
What They Are LookingFor :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as aParalegal in a busy corporate practice
- A Paralegal Certificate or Diploma from anaccredited postsecondary institution
- Proven mentorship and leadershipss
- Understanding ofBC Online ALF Outlook and Word
- Strong organizational ss and attention todetail
- Excellent oraland written communication ss
- Ability to manage a high volume of work in afastpaced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part ofa team
- Interest inmentoring and shadowing junior and intermediate teammembers
