Applicants must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a minimum of three years’ experience as a millwright.

Skills / Abilities include :

  • Well organized
  • Confident with reading and interpreting hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
  • Effective analytical skills
  • Good use of problem solving and decision making
  • Able to read electrical drawings and trouble shoot electrical issues

Responsibilities Include :

  • Work as a member of the Maintenance team to complete scheduled PM’s in a timely manner, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of our PM program and the equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving of production equipment.
  • Assembly of manufactured parts as per customer specifications
  • Ensure that inventory includes replacement parts that frequently need to be changed
  • Repairs and performs maintenance work on all industrial equipment including hoist, presses, general machinery and welding equipment to achieve maximum safety and productivity through downtime

Experience with :

  • Overhead cranes
  • Operating forklifts
  • Working at heights
  • Troubleshooting CNC lathes, mills and other machining and fabrication equipment would be an asset. Heidenhain, Fanuc, Toshiba controllers.

Shifts :

Days : Monday Friday 7 : 00 a.m. 3 : 30 p.m.

Afternoons : Monday Thursday 3 : 30 p.m. 2 : 00 a.m. if required

Overtime and some flexible hours are required for this position

Salary : $40.00 - $50.00 / hr Depending on experience
