Overview of The Role
We are seeking a skilled IT-OT Network Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good background in network infrastructure and operations technology (OT) within a manufacturing environment.
This role requires proficiency in Cisco CCNA or equivalent experience and an understanding of OT systems and their integration with IT networks.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter :
- Network Management : maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. Manages the network equipment inventory, to ensure to maintain an up-to-date inventory of OT switches, firewalls and related equipment.
- Troubleshooting and Support : Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance for both IT and OT systems.
Manages the support process and escalations to ensure efficient resumption of operational processes when issues occur, including root cause analysis in response to critical incidents, to understand, document and plan remedial actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Included in on-call after hour support rotation
- Security : Monitor network security measures to protect data, systems, and network integrity.
- Monitoring and Optimization : Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements. Regularly update network configurations and firmware.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Compliance : Ensure network infrastructure complies with internal & industry standards and regulations.
- Collaboration : Works with OT teams to deliver integrated change where appropriate, and to ensure that our network infrastructure is secure and robust end-to-end
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications :
- College diploma in the field of Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of equivalent work experience in a network position
- CCNA is preferred or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as a Network Analyst, Network Administrator, or similar role
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with operations technology (OT) and industrial control systems like Purdue model and CPWE
- Familiarity with operation, management and fault diagnosis of real time transaction processing systems
- Experience with network asset management, including maintenance of network components, inventory and related documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work beyond core business hours / on call, if necessary to minimize business interruption during planned or unplanned network / system modifications
- Available for occasional travel if required.
- Have access to a vehicule and a valid driver's license
