Position Overview :
As the Regional Director of Operations , you’ll support and supervise management teams in your region to ensure exceptional, cost-effective care, high standards across all our residences and compliance with all applicable statutes, regulations, and governmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operational Leadership : Oversee the daily operations of communities in your region, upholding LLI’s high standards.
- Strategic Support : Guide communities in developing and executing business plans, budgets, and marketing strategies, introducing targeted interventions as needed.
- Employee Relations : Partner with the VP of Operations on labor matters, including discipline, and grievances, assist with the negotiation of collective agreements and provide guidance to General Managers on labor issues.
- Community Engagement : Represent LLI on external committees (e.g., Local Health Integration Networks) to align our services with broader healthcare initiatives.
- Financial Oversight : Collaborate with finance and clinical teams to monitor budgets and ensure financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
- Occupancy & Quality Assurance : Support General Managers in achieving occupancy targets and conduct regular site visits to maintain residence quality.
- Risk Management : Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks with senior staff. Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met while promoting individual rights and reducing risks,
- Team Empowerment : Create a workplace that values individuals over routines, removes hierarchy, and fosters genuine teamwork.
Who You Are
- Post-secondary education in a related area, with 7-10 years of leadership in senior living, hotel, or hospitality, with multi-site operational experience
- Strong operational expertise and financial management, budgeting, financial analysis, and resource management
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, labour relations, and collective agreement negotiations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, empathetic leader, and strategic problem-solver
- Proven ability to build strong cultures and motivate and inspire high-performing and diverse teams.

TB results no older than 6 months
Proof of a recent flu shot,
Valid Ontario Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel within Ontario
